Using Hadoop to Build an RDF Triple Store

Our functional design goals for the SHARD (nb Scalable, High-Performance, Robust and Distributed) triple-store are to:

  1. Serve as a persistent store for triple data in RDF format.
  2. Serve as a SPARQL endpoint to process SPARQL queries.
