A recent survey of 442 business executives conducted by Harvard Business
Review Analytics Services at the behest of QlickTech, provider of QlickView
business intelligence software, finds that only 16 percent of the executives
surveyed were confident in the accuracy of the data they used to make
business decisions. Another 42 percent said they were not confident in their
decisions simply because they couldn’t get access to all the relevant data
