Release: HBase 0.20.5, Fixing Over 20 Issues

HBase has released another minor version fixing over 20 issues listed ☞ here.

This is the second minor version release since HBase has become a top Apache project (basically it is now independent of Hadoop).

While this release doesn’t mention any performance improvements, I’m pretty sure that after seeing the results of the Hypertable and HBase performance evaluation the upcoming versions will start to roll in improvements addressing speed issues.
