Neo4j Event Framework

After getting REST friendly[1], Neo4j is getting an event framework. As per the ☞ announcement:

I’m quite pleased to announce that the new event framework has been committed in kernel 1.1-SNAPSHOT. After feedback from you guys the framework got quite small and cosy.

The current supported events are triggered upon a transaction commit (nb in a way this is similar to Riak pre-commit and post-commit hooks and also on shutdown and “kernel panic” events.
