MongoDB Data Loss on Upgrade
Two tweets telling a sad story of a MongoDB failed upgrade:
The conversation that followed in the MongoDB group can be read here, but so far there haven’t been found a solution to restore the data.
That’s kind of an example of where MongoDB durability can fail pretty badly.
