NoSQL technologies have had some high-profile hiccups this year (remember that MongoDB/Foursquare disaster? ), but we’ve been assured that what doesn’t kill NoSQL only makes it stronger and more stable.
It’s kind of normal to hear about new technologies hiccups as:
- people tend to look at new technologies as silverbullets and so we’ll complain when discovering they are not
- lab solutions need to be proved in real world scenarios
On the other hand even 20+ years old technologies show hiccups and I bet we don’t hear about all of them.
