Membase Server Beta 3 Release

Membase Server Beta 3 was released today bringing in a couple of very interesting features:

  • support for multiple buckets per membase cluster (multi-tenancy)
  • bucket quotas for memory and disk space (nb disk space quota is not enforced yet)
  • cluster overview dashboard

More details about this release which also features windows support (nb currently only 32-bit) can be found ☞ here.

It’s interesting to note that Membase seems to be the first NoSQL database covered here that provides a monitoring dashboard, most of the other solutions leaving this up to contributors.
